Anti-MRPL34 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein mitochondrial ribosomal protein L34. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 92 amino acid residues and a mass of 10.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria. A member of the Bacterial ribosomal protein bL34 protein family, MRPL34 is known to be involved with mitochondrial translation and protein translation. Synonyms for this target antigen include 39S ribosomal protein L34, mitochondrial and mitochondrial large ribosomal subunit protein bL34m. MRPL34 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the MRPL34 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
