Anti-TMEM104 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 104. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 496 amino acid residues and a mass of 55.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the TMEM104 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. TMEM104 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These TMEM104 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
