Anti-LSG1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein large 60S subunit nuclear export GTPase 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 658 amino acid residues and a mass of 75.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus, ER, and cytoplasm. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the TRAFAC class YlqF/YawG GTPase protein family, LSG1 is known to be involved with protein transport. Synonyms for this target antigen include large subunit GTPase 1 homolog and hLsg1. LSG1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some LSG1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
