Anti-Janus kinase 3 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene JAK3 in humans. The gene may also be known as JAK-3, JAK3_HUMAN, JAKL, L-JAK, tyrosine-protein kinase JAK3, and Janus kinase 3 (a protein tyrosine kinase, leukocyte). Structurally, the protein is reported to be 125.1 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
