Anti-DEFB125 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein defensin beta 125. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 156 amino acid residues and a mass of 17.5 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. A member of the Beta-defensin protein family, DEFB125 is reported to exhibit antibacterial activity. Synonyms for this target antigen include beta-defensin 125 and beta defensin 25. DEFB125 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and bovine species. Immunocytochemistry is the most common application for the DEFB125 antibodies listed below. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
