Anti-Basic leucine zipper ATF-like transcription factor 3 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene BATF3 in humans. The gene may also be known as Jdp1, JUNDM1, SNFT, basic leucine zipper transcriptional factor ATF-like 3, and 21 kDa small nuclear factor isolated from T-cells. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 14.5 kilodaltons in mass. The BATF3 marker can be used to identify CD141+ Myeloid Dendritic Cells and CD8?+ Thymic Conventional Dendritic Cells.* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
