Anti-Actin like 6A antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene ACTL6A in humans. The gene may also be known as BAF53, ACTL6, ARPN-BETA, Arp4, BAF53A, actin-like protein 6A, and 53 kDa BRG1-associated factor A. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 47.5 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, plant, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
