Anti-SCYA2 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The SCYA2 antigen is another term for the human protein C-C motif chemokine ligand 2, encoded by the CCL2 gene. The protein is known to act as a ligand for C-C chemokine receptor CCR2. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 99 residues and a mass of 11 kilodaltons. It is a secreted protein and it is reported to be expressed in the seminal plasma, endometrial fluid and follicular fluid. The SCYA2 protein is a member of the Intercrine beta (chemokine CC) protein family. A number of SCYA2 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in ELISA experiments, among other applications.
