Anti-DYNLT3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein dynein light chain Tctex-type 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 116 amino acid residues and a mass of 13.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the Dynein light chain Tctex-type protein family, DYNLT3 is known to act as one of several non-catalytic accessory components of the cytoplasmic dynein 1 complex that are thought to be involved in linking dynein to cargos and to adapter proteins that regulate dynein function. Synonyms for this target antigen include TCTE1L, TCTEX1L, protein 91/23, and RP3. DYNLT3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of DYNLT3 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
