Anti-OR3A2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 3 subfamily A member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 321 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR3A2 is known to be involved with signal transduction pathways. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include OR17-14, OR17-228, OR228, olfactory receptor 3A2, olfactory receptor 17-228, and OLFRA04. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR3A2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
