Anti-PIH1D2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein PIH1 domain containing 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 315 amino acid residues and a mass of 36 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the PIH1 protein family, PIH1D2 is known to be involved with protein stabilization and rRNA processing. Synonyms for this target antigen include PIH1 domain-containing protein 2 and dynein axonemal assembly factor 15. PIH1D2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the PIH1D2 antibodies listed below. Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
