Anti-SUPT3H antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein SPT3 homolog, SAGA and STAGA complex component. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 317 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in all tissues tested including pancreas, kidney, skeletal muscle, liver, lung, placenta, brain and heart. A member of the SPT3 protein family, SUPT3H is a suspected transcriptional activator. Synonyms for this target antigen include SPT3L, transcription initiation protein SPT3 homolog, SPT3-like protein, suppressor of Ty 3 homolog, and SPT3. SUPT3H gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some SUPT3H antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
