Anti-ARMC1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein armadillo repeat containing 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 282 amino acid residues and a mass of 31.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria and cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. Synonyms for this target antigen include Arcp and armadillo repeat-containing protein 1. ARMC1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for ARMC1 antibodies.
