Anti-TMCC3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane and coiled-coil domain family 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 477 amino acid residues and a mass of 53.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER. It is found to be widely expressed, with highest levels in the brain, spinal cord and testis. It is a member of the TEX28 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include transmembrane and coiled-coil domain protein 3 and transmembrane and coiled-coil domains protein 3. TMCC3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the TMCC3 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
