Anti-H2BFS antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target H2BFS is a known alias name of the protein H2B clustered histone 12 like, encoded by the H2BC12L gene in humans. This 126-amino acid residue protein is an important component of nucleosome. It is localized to the nucleus and chromosomes of the cell and features glycosylated, ubiquitinated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for H2BFS include H2B/s and H2BS1. Some H2BFS antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
