Anti-DNAAF9 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein dynein axonemal assembly factor 9. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1177 amino acid residues and a mass of 132.3 kDa. It is notably expressed in soft tissue, hippocampus, cerebral cortex, and cerebellum. DNAAF9 is believed to act as an effector for ARL3. Synonyms for this target antigen include shulin, uncharacterized protein C20orf194, and C20orf194. DNAAF9 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
