Anti-INO80 complex ATPase subunit antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the INO80 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1556 amino acid residues and a mass of 176.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. A member of the SNF2/RAD54 helicase protein family, it is reported to be an aTPase component of the chromatin remodeling INO80 complex which is involved in transcriptional regulation, DNA replication and DNA repair. Other names for this target antigen include INOC1, chromatin-remodeling ATPase INO80, DNA helicase INO80, DNA helicase-related INO80 complex homolog 1, DNA helicase-related protein INO80, and INO80A. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
