Anti-actin related protein 1A antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the ACTR1A gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 376 amino acid residues and a mass of 42.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. A member of the Actin protein family, it is known to be a part of the ACTR1A/ACTB filament around which the dynactin complex is built. Other names for this target antigen include Arp1A, CTRN1, alpha-centractin, ARP1 actin related protein 1 homolog A, ARP1 actin-related protein 1 homolog A, centractin alpha, and ARP1. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species.
