Anti-TCL1 family AKT coactivator A antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the TCL1A gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 114 amino acid residues and a mass of 13.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus, ER, and cytoplasm. A member of the TCL1 protein family, it is known to be involved with TNF-mediated cellular signaling pathways and the regulation of apoptosis. Other names for this target antigen include T-cell leukemia/lymphoma protein 1A, T cell leukemia/lymphoma 1A, T-cell lymphoma-1, oncogene TCL-1, oncogene TCL1, and TCL1. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, bovine and chimpanzee species.
