Anti-STE20 related adaptor alpha antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the STRADA gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 431 amino acid residues and a mass of 48.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 6 different isoforms for this protein. It is a member of the STE Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family. Other names for this target antigen include STE20-like pseudokinase, STE20-related kinase adaptor alpha, protein kinase LYK5, serologically defined breast cancer antigen NY-BR-96, and STE20-related kinase adapter protein alpha. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
