Anti-gudu antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target gudu is a known alias name of the protein outer dynein arm docking complex subunit 2, encoded by the ODAD2 gene in humans. This 1044-amino acid residue protein is a known component of the outer dynein arm-docking complex (ODA-DC) that mediates outer dynein arms (ODA) binding onto the doublet microtubule. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in respiratory epithelial cells.
