Anti-MRX12 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MRX12 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the THOC2 gene, which encodes THO complex subunit 2. This protein is known to function in mRNA processing and neuronal development, among other biological roles. The human version of MRX12 has a canonical amino acid length of 1593 residues and a protein mass of 182.8 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. MRX12 is a member of the THOC2 protein family.
