Anti-Stasimon antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Stasimon antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TMEM41B gene, which encodes transmembrane protein 41B. This protein is known to function in nervous system development, among other biological roles. The human version of Stasimon has a canonical amino acid length of 291 residues and a protein mass of 32.5 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells. Stasimon is a member of the TMEM41 protein family.
