Anti-Dystrophin antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene DMD in humans. The Dystrophin protein has an expected mass of 426.8 kDa, but there are 10 reported isoforms. The protein may also be known as CMD3B and BMD. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
