Anti-IFI44 Antibody Products

Anti-IFI44 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein interferon induced protein 44. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 444 amino acid residues and a mass of 50.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the bone marrow, vagina, and appendix. A member of the IFI44 protein family, IFI44 is known to aggregate to form microtubular structures. The IFI44 marker can be used to identify Gray Matter Chandelier Neurons.* Synonyms for this target antigen include TLDC5, p44, TBC/LysM-associated domain containing 5, interferon-induced, hepatitis C-associated microtubular aggregate protein (44kD), microtubule-associated protein 44, and MTAP44. IFI44 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species.
