Anti-Mis13 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Mis13 is a known alias name of the protein DSN1 component of MIS12 kinetochore complex, encoded by the DSN1 gene in humans. This 356-amino acid residue protein is known to be a part of the MIS12 complex which is required for normal chromosome alignment and segregation and kinetochore formation during mitosis. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Indicated applications for Mis13 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
