Anti-ZO-3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ZO-3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TJP3 gene, which encodes tight junction protein 3. This protein is known to function in cell adhesion, among other biological roles. The human version of ZO-3 has a canonical amino acid length of 919 residues and a protein mass of 101.4 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cell membrane of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as ZO-3. Indicated applications for ZO-3 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
