Anti-MDM antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MDM antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SLURP1 gene, which encodes secreted LY6/PLAUR domain containing 1. This protein is known to function in cell adhesion and the regulation of cell migration, among other biological roles. The human version of MDM has a canonical amino acid length of 103 residues and a protein mass of 11.2 kilodaltons. It is reported to be a secreted protein that is notably expressed in the vagina, skin, and esophagus. Indicated applications for MDM antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
