Anti-CDV3 homolog antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the CDV3 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 258 amino acid residues and a mass of 27.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 3 different isoforms for this protein. It is a member of the CDV3 protein family. Other names for this target antigen include protein CDV3 homolog and carnitine deficiency-associated gene expressed in ventricle 3. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These CDV3 homolog antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
