Anti-WDCP antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein WD repeat and coiled coil containing. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 721 amino acid residues and a mass of 79.1 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. Post-translational modifications have been described, including phosphorylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include WD repeat and coiled-coil-containing protein C2orf44, WD repeat-containing protein C2orf44, and WD repeat and coiled-coil-containing protein. WDCP gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the WDCP antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
