Anti-ASB15 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ankyrin repeat and SOCS box containing 15. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 588 amino acid residues and a mass of 65.8 kDa. A member of the Ankyrin SOCS box (ASB) protein family, ASB15 is believed to be a substrate-recognition component of a SCF-like ECS (Elongin-Cullin-SOCS-box protein) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex which mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. Synonyms for this target antigen include ankyrin repeat and SOCS box protein 15 and epididymis secretory sperm binding protein. ASB15 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Indicated applications for ASB15 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
