Anti-NUDT15 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein nudix hydrolase 15. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 164 amino acid residues and a mass of 18.6 kDa. A member of a the Nudix hydrolase protein family, NUDT15 is believed to catalyze the hydrolysis of nucleoside triphosphates including dGTP, dTTP, dCTP, their oxidized forms like 8-oxo-dGTP and the prodrug thiopurine derivatives 6-thio-dGTP and 6-thio-GTP. Synonyms for this target antigen include NUDT15D, nucleotide triphosphate diphosphatase NUDT15, 8-oxo-dGTPase NUDT15, mutT homolog 2, and MTH2.
