Anti-CNKSR3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein CNKSR family member 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 555 amino acid residues and a mass of 61.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and cytoplasm. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the CNKSR protein family, CNKSR3 is known to be involved in transepithelial sodium transport. Synonyms for this target antigen include CNK homolog protein 3, connector enhancer of KSR 3, maguin-like protein, membrane-associated guanylate kinase-interacting protein-like 1, and connector enhancer of kinase suppressor of ras 3. CNKSR3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of CNKSR3 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
