Anti-IgA inducing protein antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the IGIP gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 53 amino acid residues and a mass of 5.9 kDa. It is known to be a secreted protein. Other names for this target antigen include IgA-inducing protein homolog and IgA-inducing protein homolog (Bos taurus). Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for the IgA inducing protein antibodies listed below. In addition, Immunofluorescence is also a common application.
