Anti-NHS like 1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the NHSL1 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1610 amino acid residues and a mass of 170.7 kDa. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 2 different isoforms for this protein. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. A member of the NHS protein family, it is known to be involved with cell differentiation. Other names for this target antigen include NHS-like protein 1.
