Anti-PLPPR3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein phospholipid phosphatase related 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 718 amino acid residues and a mass of 76 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the PA-phosphatase related phosphoesterase protein family, PLPPR3 is known to be involved with the metabolism of lipids and signal transduction pathways. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include PAP-2-like protein 2, inactive phospholipid phosphatase PLPPR3, lipid phosphate phosphatase-related protein type 3, plasticity-related gene 2 protein, and phospholipid phosphatase-related protein type 3. PLPPR3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the PLPPR3 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
