Anti-CMTM2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein CKLF like MARVEL transmembrane domain containing 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 248 amino acid residues and a mass of 27.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be highly expressed in the testis. A member of the Chemokine-like factor protein family, CMTM2 is known to be involved with chemotaxis. Synonyms for this target antigen include chemokine-like factor superfamily 2, chemokine-like factor superfamily member 2, and CKLF-like MARVEL transmembrane domain-containing protein 2. CMTM2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Some CMTM2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
