Anti-OR5P2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 5 subfamily P member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 322 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is reported to be expressed in the tongue. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor OR11-93, olfactory receptor-like protein JCG3, and olfactory receptor 5P2. OR5P2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR5P2 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
