Anti-shisa like 2B antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the SHISAL2B gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 160 amino acid residues and a mass of 17.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is a member of the Shisa protein family. Other names for this target antigen include family with sequence similarity 159 member B, membrane protein FAM159B, and protein shisa-like-2B. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. Some shisa like 2B antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
