Anti-ZMAT1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein zinc finger matrin-type 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 638 amino acid residues and a mass of 74.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the testis, bronchus, and adrenal gland. Synonyms for this target antigen include zinc finger matrin-type protein 1. ZMAT1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Some ZMAT1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
