Anti-CD300LG antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein CD300 molecule like family member g. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 332 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be highly expressed in the heart, skeletal muscle and placenta. A member of the CD300 protein family, CD300LG is a known receptor which may mediate L-selectin-dependent lymphocyte rollings. Post-translational modifications have been described, including O-glycosylation. The CD300LG marker can be used to identify Blood Vessel Endothelial Cells.* Synonyms for this target antigen include CD300 antigen-like family member G, triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 4, and CMRF35-like molecule 9. CD300LG gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species.
