Anti-TRMO antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein tRNA methyltransferase O. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 441 amino acid residues and a mass of 48.6 kDa. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the adrenal gland and pancreas. It is a member of the TRNA methyltransferase O protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include HSPC219, NAP1, tRNA (adenine(37)-N6)-methyltransferase, Nef (lentivirus myristoylated factor) associated protein 1, Nef associated protein 1, and C9orf156. TRMO gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the TRMO antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
