Anti-PHLDB2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein pleckstrin homology like domain family B member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1253 amino acid residues and a mass of 142.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane and cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. PHLDB2 is suspected to be involved in the assembly of the postsynaptic apparatus. Synonyms for this target antigen include LL5 beta and protein LL5-beta. PHLDB2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of PHLDB2 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
