Anti-ELF1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein E74 like ETS transcription factor 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 619 amino acid residues and a mass of 67.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the ETS protein family, ELF1 is reported to be a transcription factor that activates the LYN and BLK promoters. Synonyms for this target antigen include RIA1, ETS-related transcription factor Elf-1, E74-like factor 1 (ets domain transcription factor), and EFTUD1. ELF1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of ELF1 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
