Anti-SAXO2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein stabilizer of axonemal microtubules 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 398 amino acid residues and a mass of 45.9 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the nasopharynx, kidney, fallopian tube, endometrium, and bronchus. It is a member of the FAM154 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include family with sequence similarity 154, member B and protein FAM154B. SAXO2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for the SAXO2 antibodies listed below. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
