Anti-FTCDNL1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein formiminotransferase cyclodeaminase N-terminal like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 147 amino acid residues and a mass of 16.3 kDa. It is reported to be widely expressed with highest levels in the liver and skeletal muscle, and moderate levels in the kidney, bone and pancreas. It is a member of the Formiminotransferase protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include formiminotransferase N-terminal sub-domain containing, formiminotransferase-cyclodeaminase N-terminal-like protein, and formiminotransferase N-terminal subdomain-containing protein. FTCDNL1 gene orthologs have been reported in the frog and bovine species.
