Anti-ITF2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ITF2 is a known alias name of the protein transcription factor 4, encoded by the TCF4 gene in humans. This 667-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a transcription factor that binds to the immunoglobulin enhancer Mu-E5/KE5-motif. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in adult heart, brain, placenta, skeletal muscle and to a lesser extent in the lung. Other synonyms for ITF2 include CDG2T, E2-2, and FCD2. These ITF2 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
