Anti-PGM2L1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein phosphoglucomutase 2 like 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 622 amino acid residues and a mass of 70.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. It is notably expressed in the cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and bronchus. A member of the Phosphohexose mutase protein family, PGM2L1 is known to be involved with carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis. Synonyms for this target antigen include glucose 1,6-bisphosphate synthase. PGM2L1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These PGM2L1 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
