Anti-ERp57 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ERp57 is a known alias name of the protein protein disulfide isomerase family A member 3, encoded by the PDIA3 gene in humans. This 505-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a disulfide isomerase, which catalyzes the formation, isomerization, and reduction or oxidation of disulfide bonds. It is localized to the ER of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in the flagellum and head region of spermatozoa. Other synonyms for ERp57 include ER60 and ERp60. Some ERp57 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
