Anti-Rop antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Rop is a known alias name of the protein opsin 1, long wave sensitive, encoded by the OPN1LW gene in humans. This 364-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in GPCR signaling pathways and cell division, among other biological processes. It is localized to the membrane of the cell and features phosphorylated and glycosylated post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for Rop include CBBM, CBP, and COD5. Indicated applications for Rop antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
